SafeRack’s 2-rail safety cage is often used in railcar bulk loading applications and is designed to sit atop a railcar’s crashbox, closing gaps and ensuring a safety working environment for workers. Available in a variety of finishes and sizes to suit any application and railcar type. Powder coating options are available and ideal for use in corrosive environments. 2-Rail safety cages are typrically 12" deep made out of 1 1/2" Sch 10 aluminum pipe and are all welded construction. Typicaly sizes for tankcar applications are 6' x 6', 7' x 7' or 7' x 8'. All safety cages can be customized to address your individual needs and specific requirements.
