Rob Sawchuk

General Manager

Rob is currently in the role of General Manager with Northern Platforms Ltd and has been with the company since its inception in 2001. Prior to General Manager, Rob was in the role of Manager of Sales & Marketing for Northern Platform Ltd.

Having been with the company since it started, Rob has detailed knowledge on all the projects Northern Platforms Ltd has worked on over the last 24 years. Drawing on his extensive experience, Rob enjoys helping clients find a fit for purpose solution for their railcar and truck loading projects. Rob is passionate about customer service and tries to embody it in every interaction, conversation, and solution. Born and raised in the Edmonton area, Rob married the love of his life in 2005, and now he and his wife are the proud parents of four children. They are currently raising their family in Beaumont, Alberta. When Rob is not busy with Northern Platforms Ltd, he enjoys spending his time with family and close friends and getting out to the lake. More than anything, Rob loves to watch his kids participate in sports. When Rob is not doing that, he is a huge football fan and enjoys watching college football, the CFL and the NFL. Rob is also a huge hockey fan and a proud supporter of the Edmonton Oilers. Having season tickets to both the Edmonton Eskimos and the Edmonton Oilers, Rob loves getting out to as many games as possible!
